Have a client who wanted to create lines (sleepers for rail line many km's long) on his alignment and when you extract cross sections, he was going to enter 1.25m left/right of alignment and set the spacings on straight and curves as 3.599m for the sleeper lines. Therefore in the Extract Cross Sections screen if there was an option to Save Cross Section Lines and select or enter a layer for the lines, this would solve their problem. They require these sleeper lines for a Topcon machine control.
