Generate an annotation for a point that will include: point name, code/description, easting, northing, elevation in a box with a line to the point

This can be done in other software.

Will find it useful for detail survey drafting where point information is required. For example your bench marks you may want the code, easting, northing, RL displayed. You can command ‘callout’ (or whatever it may be) click on the point and it will create a line and box with the text in and you can drag it to wherever works on the plan and the line/leader will follow.

    This is currently under development and is planned for inclusion in the version 9 release. It will be available from a new option "Leader with Text". There will be an option for "Quick Labels" on the dialog which allows for the inclusion of the point information you have listed as well as point notes. The order of the data is also available for customization so you can put the labels in the order required.

    Good idea, this would be an enhancement to the insert Text Label feature.

    The Labels can still be tweaked a bit further with the Property Manager.
