Be able to have all data layers stacked above the DTM Color Fill

Hi,

This maybe a big ask, but something that has bugged me since the days of Civilcad, which is the Color Fill option on the DTM Manager.

When producing plotted plans and whenever it is active, if using this feature, it dominates all other data layers except text (as seen in the attachment, which is a combination of surveyed features, UAV and engineering designs), even in the main 2D mode it does the same thing.

As remote sensing data becomes more common place in the survey sector, the color fill is such a useful visualization tool. For me, it is made from using the cut/fill option in the volume calculations to render a comparison plan, but it would be great if it was able to be moved up or down using a similar layer order tool and/or modifying the opacity so other data could show through, such as boundaries, surveyed features, stockpiles or imported design data.

I think that a opacity slider or some sort of control for the color fill would work very well. I also would like a way to set the opacity of background images easier as well as polygons using the fill mode with hatching. Any thoughts on this idea?

In the DTM Settings> turn on the checkbox for "Draw in Background". At least then you will be able to see other objects in the job.

A 'Layer order' system for DTMs would be a good thing, and would naturally go with the ability to turn DTMs on and off for different drawings.

I have previously advocated for DTM transparency, which is similar to your modifying opacity idea.
