Match Lines

Create Drawing has really good tools for drawing overlap. Would it be possible to have an auto create Match lines feature, maybe with the option to move the sheets for orientation and overlap.

    Hi Barkley,

    My experience is very limited in this. I have found them very useful when looking at design drawings and have attempted to create them in another CAD program for Topo drawings of Roads. It was news to me the variety of lines you described. My preference would be short lines, but I'm guessing long lines would be useful if someone wanted to put printed drawings up on a wall to represent a whole project, as people sometimes do.

    Automatic, but adjustable, match lines, with a semi manual approach to the labeling would be my suggestion. By this I mean a label could be generated and positioned parallel and the user would put the sheet number in.

    This would be an enhancement to an already excellent plot window feature in Magnet Office.

    Hi James,

    This is a good idea. Can you provide an example of what you would expect as the created match lines? There are multiple ways to do this, short match lines, long match lines, is there a preference?
    Labeling or match lines, are these labels automatic, my preference, using the sheet numbers or is there a need for a manual approach to the match line labels?
