turn of points on specific layers when plotting, keeping the linework on.

It would be useful to be able to turn-off individual layer "points" whilst still having the linework turned on when plotting.

For example, I have a boundary layer where I only want the linework on and do not want to display the points (crosses or dots) or point symbols (peg circles). However, I want to have other points and point symbols on for other features (spot heights and services).

Without creating separate layers for points and lines, it would be useful to have this function control in the layers menu in that the points are on but have the option to not make them plottable.

Can you show where this feature is, and how it works please.

I had something similar recently, my workaround was to select the line, select linked points, properties and change the Point Mark to a dot.
