One of our Beta Testers (Graeme Hatet, Position Partners) has proposed an warning message when changing elevation to '0' from Properties Manager floating window. Please see his comment below.
"If you select all your data on-screen, rt-click to show Properties Manager and then set to "Points" in the header. Now select the Elevation row which will display *varies*. If you select that field and press the Backspace key to clear that field, the elevations are gone.. (undo will fix it)
But if it's a new user and they have not realised that the elevations are removed and saved the project!!
Suggest that a warning message displays: "Do you really want to delete the Elevations" - yes/no... then the user is pre-warned what they are about to do."
But don't forget that if the user really wants to remove the elevations, they will be prompted each time. Sure a "Don't ask again" can also be added, but the new user may have forgotten...
